This is a modern one piece replacement for your needle and seat. You can install them with a deep socket, rather than a straight screwdriver. Captured inside the unit is a disc that is activated by a small shaft that contacts the float at the same location as the old "needle." I ran them in my car and have sold many with positive feedback. I use them in all the restorations I complete.
