Small Rochester End carb throttlebody/floatbowl gasket
small base Rochester, no vent slots (for 1957, 1958 ends)
small base Rochester, no vent slots (for 1957, 1958 ends)
This is the gasket between the cast iron throttlebody and the floatbowl. They do not have vent slots. Factory used this gasket.
However, there are no problems using the gasket in this location with the vent slots.
This is the gasket that goes between the cast iron throttlebody and the floatbowl. Same gasket is used whether or not you have the hot idle compensator valve.
This gasket is proc 1/16" thick andhas the vent slots, as almost all do. There is a lot of confusion about thses slots. They do not create a vacuum leask as they are above the throttleblades. They vent vapors that build up behind the throttle blades at hot idle.
Come in two sizes. Small for the 59 to 65 center carbs and the 57 and 58 carbs. The large size is for the 59 to 66 ends and the 66 center. You can choose size and number when you place items in the cart.
These gaskets are seldom in the carb kits others sell. They are included in the kits I sell on the page.
Often needed after removing airhorn to replace jets, set floats, or to replace a wet gasket. I have never seen this gasket sold separately. Top Quality. When you add to cart, you can specify which carb. Smaller center carb takes different gasket, of course.
Top Quality. Specify which carb and quantities as you place in cart.
Correct bottleneck stud. Shorter than the stud for the small, GTO style air cleaners.
A must have when removing the throttleblades and choke flap. Set of 14. 12 have Phillips head, unlike originals. The two visible ones for choke flap have slotted head, while quantities last.
This is the short rod from the choke pull-off diaphram to the lever on the end of the choke shaft.
